LEIGH WEBB

New job title: Project director for the Oncology Services Division

Company: Registry Partners Inc.

Duties: As a commission on cancer trained consultant, Webb will provide consultative services to health care facilities nationwide as they seek initial Commission on Cancer accreditation and help existing Commission on Cancer accredited cancer programs, monitor and evaluate accreditation compliance long term.

Related work experience: Webb began her career in the oncology field in 2003 at Curtis & Elizabeth Anderson Cancer Institute and began working for Registry Partners in May 2011.

Education: Webb received her Bachelor of Science degree in health science from Georgia Southern University and her master of public health from Armstrong Atlantic State University.

CHRISTOPHER WADE

New job title: Auditor

Company: Deemer Dana & Froehle LLP

Eduction: Wade is a graduate of the University of Georgia and earned his master’s degree at Georgia College & State University.

SEANNE HOLLIDAY

New job title: Vice president and director of treasury services

Company: The Coastal Bank

Duties: Holliday will oversee cash management services for commercial banking customers and provide customized deposit solutions.

Related work experience: Holliday served as The Coastal Bank’s Godley Station branch manager. Earlier, she held a number of positions in banking and finance, including chief financial officer for Wilkerson Enterprises in Ames, Iowa, and human resources officer at First of America Bank in De Kalb, Ill.

Education: Holliday earned a B.S. in technical management-finance from DeVry University.

GERRI ANN ROBBINS

New job title: Chief operating officer

Company: Union Mission

Duties: Robbins will oversee the management of all daily operations, including maintaining the quality of all programs and the integrity of the organization.

Related work experience: Robbins has more than 10 years’ experience as a results-driven business executive and licensed marriage and family therapist and formerly served as the director of EAP and Leadership Development at Secure Health in Macon.

Education: Robbins earned a Ph.D. in educational leadership and an M.A. in family therapy from Mercer University. She also holds a B.A. in psychology from Mercer University.

MIKE WEST

New job title: Vice president, Product Support Sales and New Business Development

Company: Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.

Related work experience: Since September 2002, West has been the director of product support programs. He has also been a fleet account sales manager and a regional sales manager. Prior to joining the company in 1999, West served as executive vice president and general manager, respectively, for aviation-related businesses TBM Inc. and AC Tech.

Education: West earned a bachelor’s degree in aeronautical management from St. Louis University, Parks College campus, with a specialization in aircraft maintenance management.

RAMOND A. ROBINSON

New job title: Chief development officer for the Chatham Area Transit Authority

Company: Veolia Transportation

Duties: Robinson is responsible for the areas of planning, marketing, service planning and demand responsive services of Chatham Area Transit Authority. Robinson will also be responsible for future transportation development in our region.

Related work experience: Robinson has been employed with Triangle Transit Authority in Research Triangle Park, N.C. and most recently with Charlotte Area Transit System/city of Charlotte in Charlotte, N.C.

Education: Robinson received his Bachelor of Science degree in environmental sciences/geography and a Master of Science in geography and earth science from North Carolina Central University.

CARL A. MILLER

New job title: Commissioner

Company: Housing Authority of Savannah

Duties: Miller will serve as the governing body for the Housing Authority of Savannah

Related work experience: Miller has served on the Board of Directors Savannah Chatham Fair Housing Council, Cultural Affairs Commissioner, Leadership Savannah, Fellow at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody School of Education & Human Development, Fellow, Harvard University National Institute for Urban School Leadership.

Education: Miller holds a B.A. in English language & literature from Savannah State University.

THA Group honored

THA Group Island Health Care announced it has been named a Top Agency of the 2012 HomeCare Elite, a compilation of the top-performing home health agencies in the United States. Now in its seventh year, the HomeCare Elite identifies the top 25 percent of Medicare-certified agencies and further highlights the top 100 and top 500 agencies overall.

Attorney honored

Michael H. Smith has been recognized for his service on the professional advisory board of DocuBank, the nation’s largest advance directives registry. This service provides instant access to the documents and information needed in a medical emergency.

Smith has a served as a member of the Advisory Board for the past two years and has provided input on DocuBank programs and educational materials and offered counsel on developing new programs for the benefit of DocuBank registrants.

Hilton Head staff members honored

Two Hilton Head Public Service District staff members have won annual awards from the Sea Island District of the Water Environment Association of South Carolina.

Jim Hewitt, PSD Water Services Supervisor, was named the Water Treatment Operator of the Year. Scott Moffatt, PSD Water Quality Technician, was named the Lab Analyst of the Year. Hewitt and Moffatt will be entered in the Water Environment Association’s state-level annual awards competition in their respective categories.

Boyd re-elected to board of directors

Georgia Farm Bureau members in the organization’s 7th District recently re-elected Ben Boyd of Screven County to represent their district on the Georgia Farm Bureau Board of Directors for his second two-year term. The election was held Dec. 4 during the 75th Annual Georgia Farm Bureau Convention on Jekyll Island. The GFB 7th District is comprised of 17 counties. Gary Bell of Evans County also serves as a GFB director for the district.

Nurses earn certification

Hospice Savannah Inc. has announced that six nurses have recently passed their certification in hospice and palliative care, bringing the total number of certified clinicians at Hospice Savannah Inc. to 39.
