LUCERO ARADILLAS

New job title: Latino Partnership program manager for CAMINO

Company: Armstrong Atlantic State University

Duties: As the CAMINO program manager, Aradillas is responsible for the day-to-day implementation of CAMINO. Aradilla will manage the operational aspects of the program. She will also create, implement and monitor project plans; facilitate meetings with community groups and stake holders; monitor data gathering; and recruit and manage CAMINO advisors and student volunteers.

Education: Aradillas holds a B.A. in political science from Kennessaw State University.

TIFFANY HUGHES

Company: Regions Bank

Related work experience: Hughes has more than 15 years of financial services experience, spanning from commercial banking to wealth management.

Education: Hughes earned her bachelor of arts degree from Ohio University.

Related work experience: Sills has more than 13 years in the mortgage industry.

Education: Sills attended the Atlantic School of Appraisal and Real Estate and is a certified appraiser.

Company: Parker’s in Faulkville

Duties: New oversesg daily operations, including managing personnel and delivering customer service.

Related work experience: She served as manager of a Parker’s store in Rincon. Before joining Parker’s, she worked at Eagle Stop convenience stores in Eugene, Mo.

Education: New has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Columbia College.

ELIZABETH VAZQUEZ-DE LA PEÑA

New job title: Hispanic/Latino outreach and retention coordinator

Company: Armstrong Atlantic State University

Duties: Vazquez-De la Peña will help transition students into post-secondary studies at Armstrong, support them academically and advise them on university resources available to them.

Related work experience: Vazquez-De la Peña has worked for the Cobb County School District’s International Welcome Center as a Spanish language facilitator.

Education: Vazquez-De la Peña holds a B.B.A. in marketing from Kennesaw State University and an M.A. in linguistics from the University College London.

Savannah lawyer honored

The Fulton County Daily Report, a legal publications, recently honored HunterMaclean partner Bradley M. Harmon as an On the Rise Attorney, adding him to the elite list of the Peach State’s leading lawyers under the age of 40.

Savannah man honored

Tommy Linstroth has been named Green Leader of the Year by USGBC-Savannah Green Building Awards program, which were presented jointly by the Georgia Chapter of the US Green Building Council’s Savannah Branch and the City of Savannah.

Attorney honored

Boyd Collar Nolen & Tuggle, LLC has announce the selection of Kathleen “Katie” B. Connell, to the Fulton County Daily Report’s 2013 “On The Rise” list. Connell is a 1997 graduate of Savannah Country Day School.

Savannah woman receives designation

Chantel Morton has completed the Georgia Downtown Association’s Professional Development Program level one review and has received the designation of Georgia Downtown Development Professional.

The 2013 Downtown Development Professional designees were recently recognized at the Awards for Downtown Excellence Ceremony held during the Annual Georgia Downtown Conference in Savannah.
