Test drives and car show to benefit wounded warriors
Fairway Lincoln Mazda, 10101 Abercorn St., is bringing Lincoln’s national “Driven To Give” program to Savannah to try to raise up to $8,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project.
For every person who test-drives an eligible Lincoln vehicle today, the dealership will donate up to $40 to the Wounded Warrior Project. For the first test drive, $20 will be donated; an additional $20 will be given for those who take a bonus test drive in the new 2013 Lincoln MKX.
The money will help take care of men and women who have been injured in combat.
The Warrior Car and Bike Show, presented by 912 Food 2 Go and Georgia Street Revoluzion, also will be held today at the dealership. A minimum of 30 trophies will be awarded across at least seven categories.
Food will be sold from Carlitos Mexican, Pakwan Indian, Antojo Latino Columbian, Quickies Southern Catering and Just4U Seafood.
On-site registration is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will cost $20. All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
