Toyo Tire creates 650 jobs in Bartow expansion
Toyo Tire North America Manufacturing Inc. will invest $371 million to expand its facility in Bartow County and create 650 new jobs over the next four years, Gov. Nathan Deal announced Friday.

The expansion will add 700,000 square feet to Toyo’s 2 million-square-foot manufacturing plant by the end of 2017, and the company will expand its warehousing footprint by 30 percent. The expanded facility will continue to manufacture premium light truck and passenger car tires.
Since the plant was built in 2006, it has grown from 81 workers to more than 1,000 employees.
