JESUP — Grand opening ceremonies for a store opened Friday by Goodwill of the Coastal Empire at 990 N. Macon St. drew more than 300 people for the official ribbon-cutting.
Goodwill will operate a retail store, convenient donation center and Job Connection center at the site.
The Jesup Goodwill will serve as the 16th retail location with a nearly 12,000-foot facility and is expected to employ about 25 people.
The Jesup Center offers job seekers access to job leads and provides the technology resources to prepare the job seeker for a successful job search.
Free computer and Internet access enables applicants to view job postings and submit their job history online.
