Average retail gasoline prices in Savannah have fallen 6.2 cents a gallon in the past week to $3.27 a gallon on Sunday. The national average has fallen 0.7 cents a gallon in the last week to $3.24, according to gasoline price website SavannahGasPrices.com.
Prices Sunday were 4.5 cents a gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 12.5 cents a gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 3.9 cents a gallon during the last month and stands 10.4 cents lower than a year ago.
Gregg Laskoski, senior petroleum analyst with GasBuddy, said severe winter conciditions across the country could lead to lower gas prices this week.
