Goodwill of the Coastal Empire opened its 17th retail store and donation center Thursday with a ribbon-cutting at Berwick Shopping Plaza at 5710 Ogeechee Road.
“We hope to provide Southside Savannah shoppers with a new experience,” said Coni Curtas, Vice President of Donated Goods. “The Berwick Goodwill Store will have a new look and new location but same good prices.” The store will be open to the public with a full selection of merchandise.
Goodwill’s retail sales help fund job and training assistance for people with disabilities and other barriers to employment to live independently.
