BILL ASTARY

Duties: Astary will identify and cultivate partnerships to leverage Georgia Tech resources for building solutions that meet corporate learning needs and business objectives.
Related work experience: Astary was most recently senior vice president of sales for Lumenergi and previously served as senior vice president of strategic marketing and business development at Acuity Brands.
Education: Astary holds a bachelor’s in industrial management from Georgia Tech and an MBA in international business from Mercer. He is a graduate of Harvard’s Advanced Management Program and Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business’ Brand Management course.
LISA MORGAN

Duties: Morgan will help expand the banking relationships of new and existing business clients for the Savannah market. She will utilize her expertise in SBA lending to expand Colony Bank’s Small Business lending relationships.
Related work experience: Morgan has 20 years experience in SBA lending and Community banking.
Education: Morgan holds a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish from Berry College.
KEVIN DUTTON
New job title: Vice president, Operations Finance
Company: Gulfstream Aerospace Corp.
Duties: Dutton leads financial functions for Gulfstream Operations in the U.S. and Mexico. Specifically, he will establish and implement financial strategies for Initial Phase and Final Phase Manufacturing Operations as well as play a key role in the development of business plans and targets.
Related work experience: Dutton joined Gulfstream in 1988 as a staff accountant. He has worked in Corporate Accounting and Financial Planning, spending most of his time in Initial Phase Operations Finance. In 2002, Dutton was appointed director of Materials and Production Finance. As director, he managed all financial support for Initial Phase Manufacturing, including providing financial advice and counsel to Gulfstream’s facility in Mexicali, Mexico.
Education: Dutton earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Georgia Southern University.

Tybee officer completes training
Joseph Toole of the Tybee Island POlice Department completed an Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement course taught by the Georgia Police Academy Division of the Georgia Public Safety Training Center. The training program is designed to enhance law enforcement officer’s ability to recognize the role of traffic enforcement and its relationship to highway safety.
