AYANNA KELLEY-WASHINGTON

New job title: Sales associate

Related work experience: Kelley-Washington has over six years of experience in sales. She previously worked as a juvenile detention counselor.

Education: Kelley-Washington earned a B.S. in psychology from Georgia Southern University.

SARAH MCCOY

New job title: Sales associate

Company: Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners

Duties: McCoy is a specialist in residential, new homes, dream homes and acreage in Savannah and the surrounding areas of Chatham, Effingham, Bryan and Bulloch counties.

Related work experience: McCoy has over 10 years of sales experience and customer service background

Education: McCoy holds a degree in pre-nursing and pastoral ministry.

KIM NICKELS

New job title: Patient access, education and advocacy manager

Company: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Georgia Chapter

Duties: Nickels will be responsible for increasing direct patient contact, building relationships with local health care providers, growing the grassroots advocacy network and integrating the LLS mission into all fundraising activities.

Related work experience: Nickels worked for the American Heart Association for ten years. Most recently, Kim served as the director of quality improvement initiatives.

Step Up Savannah names board members

Eight new members have joined the Step Up Savannah, Inc. board of directors. The board also elected its officers for 2014, who will serve for one year starting in January.

The following new members join the 37-member board in January:

• Victor Cooper, Cloverdale Neighborhood Association

• Erma Fulcher, Hudson Hill Neighborhood Association

• Holden Hayes, The Savannah Bank

• William Jackson, IKEA Distribution Center

• Sister Pauline O’Brien, Sacred Heart Catholic Church

• Jim Stevenson, civic leader

• Frances Tukes, Eastside Concerned Citizens

• Dr. Diane Weems, Coastal Health District

Step Up officers elected to serve in 2014 are: Chairman John Wills, president, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of the Savannah Area; Vice Chair Mohsen Badran, president and CEO, Goodwill Industries of the Coastal Empire, Inc.; and Treasurer Scott Center, president, National Office Systems, Inc. Michael Traynor, publisher, “Savannah Morning News,” remains on the board as immediate past chair.

Savannah native honored

Foundation Financial Group employees from across America awarded Jamie Mohr the Timothy Brosier Diamond Award for outstanding service during the third quarter of 2013. The award is part of Foundation Financial Group’s mission to recognize and reward employees for going above and beyond the call of duty.
