JESSICA DENMARK SCHROYER

New job title: Director of marketing

Company: Savannah Commons Retirement Community

Duties: Schroyer will complete annual competitive analysis and ongoing internal and external marketing plans. She will also coordinate and execute on- and off-site events and handle budget and all media and public relations.

Related work experience: Schroyer was the events coordinator for Telfair Museums and Marketing Assistant for Savannah Commons.

Education: She studied communication arts at University of West Florida.

MIKE DRINKWALTER

New job title: Sales manager

Company: The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa

Duties: Drinkwalter will handle all group clients in the northeast and Canada.

Related work experience: Drinkwalter started his career in the hotel industry in 1995 working his way through Niagara University’s school of International Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Administration.

TINA O’KEEFE-HOLLY

New job title: Sales manager

Company: The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa

Duties: O’Keefe-Holly will handle group clients in the Midwest.

Related work experience: O’Keefe-Holly joined ITT Sheraton/Starwood in 1987 as a front desk manager at the former Sheraton Plaza Hotel Chicago. She has held various management positions in room operations, revenue management and sales at the Sheraton O’Hare, Westin Michigan Avenue and the Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers/Westin River North complex.

Education: O’Keefe-Holly earned a bachelor’s degree in computer management from Eastern Illinois University and a master studies in guidance and counseling at Texas State University, San Marcos.

JASON E. MCMILLAN

New job title: Senior vice president

Company: BB&T

Duties: McMillan’s primary office is at Johnson Square in the historic district of Savannah.

Related work experience: McMillan joined the bank in 2003 is a regional corporate banker in BB&T’s Southern Georgia Region.

Education: McMillan earned a bachelor’s degree in business/finance and psychology from Berry College.

NANCY FULLBRIGHT

New job title: Vice President of Media Relations

Company: Abshire Public Relations

Related work experience: Fullbright served as a corporate communications specialist with Gulfstream Aerospace and has worked in public relations for a number of universities, including University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology and Mercer University.

Education: Fullbright earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Furman University and a master of mass communication degree from the University of Georgia.

MELISSA GUZMAN

New job title: Assistant branch manager, Rincon office

Company: The Coastal Bank

Duties: Guzman will ensure the effectiveness of all banking operations, provide customer branch lending support, continue to establish and grow new customer relationships, identify banking products to help improve clients’ financial future and manage individual as well as business accounts.

Related work experience: Guzman served as an officer, personal banker and consumer lending relationship specialist at SunTrust Bank in Savannah and Pooler for 11 years and is the recipient of the 2012 Gold Award from SunTrust Bank.

Education: Guzman earned a B.B.A. at Brewton Parker College

MAJ. AMY SANDBOTHE

New job title: Commander of the Mission Support Element

Company: Savannah’s Combat Readiness Training Center

Duties: Sandbothe will direct all support elements to include all vehicle maintenance, billeting, logistics and personnel not directly supporting flight operations. Additionally, as a rated flight officer, she manages flight operations as a range control officer at the unit’s Townsend Bombing Range.

Related work experience: Sandbothe comes to the CRTC after serving as the director of staff for the 165th Airlift Wing where she served as the principle advisor to the wing commander and group commanders for all matters pertaining to force support programs.

SUE ELSE

New job title: Chief executive officer

Company: Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, Inc.

Related work experience: Else served as president and CEO of Hope House for 18 years and served seven years as president of the National Network to End Domestic Violence in Washington, D.C.

Education: Else earned her bachelor of science in psychology with an emphasis in sociology and women’s studies from Iowa State University.
