ATHENS — Two Savannah firms and one from Statesboro have been named to the Bulldog 100 for 2014, a list of the fastest growing companies owned or operated by University of Georgia alumni.

The companies include:

• Cay Insurance, Savannah: Honorees are Christopher Cay and John Sipple who graduated in 1997 and 2000.

• Seacrest Partner, Savannah: Honorees are Cliff McCurry and Cindy Parker Robinett who graduated in 1971 and 1989.

• Colonial House of Flowers, Statesboro: Honoree is Christy Hulsey who graduated in 1998.

University alumni honored the companies Saturday during the fifth annual Bulldog 100 celebration at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

The 2014 fastest growing business was Social Empowerment Center in Lawerenceville, which was founded and owned by UGA graduates and husband and wife duo Rachelle and Edward Hutchinson.

To be considered for the list, each organization must have been in business for at least five years, experienced revenues in excess of $100,000 for the calendar year 2010 and be owned or operated by a former UGA student who owns at least 50 percent of the company or be the CEO, president or managing partner.

The Bulldog 100 recognizes the fastest growing businesses regardless of size by focusing on a three-year compounded annual growth rate
