Greg Parker, center, president and CEO of The Parker Cos., Bill Mitchell, left-center, president of Toombs-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and local dignitaries helped cut the ribbon at the newest Parker’s store located at 113 Oxley Drive, between downtown Lyons and Vidalia. Parker’s, a nationally-recognized convenience store leader, celebrated the official grand opening of a new state-of-the-art location in Lyons on Feb. 14. The retail store is the first Parker’s in Toombs County. The Lyons store is the company’s 34th location. Parker’s currently employs more than 500 individuals throughout Georgia and South Carolina.
