Industrial Service Exchange website launched
BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick and Glynn County Development Authority, in partnership with the Savannah Economic Development Authority, has introduced the Industrial Service Exchange, an online tool designed to encourage regional economic development by providing easier communication between manufacturers about new business opportunities.
The ISE allows users to post services they offer and services they need. The tool automatically matches companies based on the information provided in the company’s customized user profile. Also, ISE provides the opportunity for companies searching to fill positions on active projects to find jobs suited for their business.
“There are numerous opportunities for the region’s manufacturers to work together, and I feel this initiative will create new business opportunities and partnerships right here in the coastal Georgia region,” said project manager John Scott. “The Industrial Service Exchange gives existing manufacturers the opportunity to thrive and grow.”

Abby the ArchaeoBus to visit Savannah Mall
Abby the ArchaeoBus, a mobile archaeology classroom, will make a stop at the Savannah Mall Saturday, March 1. The public is invited between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to participate in both group and self-directed archaeology activities.
Built by the Society for Georgia Archaeology, the ArchaeoBus is a retrofitted bookmobile furnished for archaeologists to lead educational programs. It travels throughout the state to school groups, scout meetings, teacher workshops and the State Fair.
In addition to the ArchaeoBus, the Armstrong Anthropology Club will have tables set up for educational crafts, including Buddhist Mandala sand paintings, Alutiiq animal mask making, rock art designing and Native American beaded jewelry creating.

Pace Lighting named showroom of year finalist for fifth time
Pace Lighting has been selected as a finalist for the fifth annual National Lighting Showroom of the Year Awards, presented by Residential Lighting magazine and the Dallas Market Center. This is Pace Lighting’s fifth consecutive nomination, and the company is a three-time winner across two sales volume award categories.
This year’s winners will be announced on June 18. A profile of Pace Lighting will appear in the April issue of Residential Lighting magazine.
