Goodwill announces May job fairs
Goodwill of the Coastal Empire will hold 10 job fairs May 6-9 at which employers will share information about their organizations and employment opportunities. Various industries will be represented, including hospitality, retail, aerospace, and manufacturing. Job seekers should bring resumes and dress professionally.

Leadership Savannah applications available for 2014-2015 class
Now through June 13, Leadership Savannah will accept applications for the 2014-2015 class. The year-long course will be limited to 42 participants.
The class consists of monthly sessions led by community experts. Sessions are expected to begin in September 2014 and conclude in June 2015. Participants must attend all sessions to graduate.
All applicants must go through the selection process and pay full program fees of $2,500. A limited number of $1,000 need-based scholarships are available.

TJS Deemer Dana launches new website
TJS Deemer Dana, a full-service certified public accounting firm, has announced the launch of their new website — www.tjsdd.com.
“We are proud to connect our three offices, all of our employees and our services in one convenient website. We hope our clients and communities find the new site user friendly and easily accessible,” said managing partner Tracy Sharkey.
The firm worked with Southpoint Media to design and develop the new site.

Chick-Fil-A helps to can hunger
Chick-Fil-A on Victory Drive just east of Skidaway Road will host a two-day food drive. The Cookie For A Can Food Drive will run today and Saturday and will give Chick-fil-A customers a chance to support their local food bank, America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia.
For each canned good that is dropped off today and tomorrow, donors will receive a cookie in exchange with a limit of 10 cookies per customer.
