Home builder recognized for customer satisfaction

Lamar Smith Signature Homes, a home builder in coastal Georgia, was awarded the national 2014 Avid Custom Builder Diamond award out of 747 qualifying builders throughout the United States.

Avid Ratings measure customer satisfaction at several points during the new home buying process, starting from contract through months after the initial move-in. The Avid Diamond Award is given to the home building company that received the highest scores on its New Home Move-In Experience Survey.

“As a homebuilding company, this award reaffirms our position that we can provide our customers with not only the best product, but also with the highest service during the home building process,” said Lamar Smith, owner of Lamar Smith Signature Homes.

Avid Ratings is an independent management firm that specializes in customer loyalty research in the homebuilding market.

The firm also added Brad Whitfield toit staff. Whitfield specializes in business valuation for litigation, tax, mergers, due diligence and consulting engagements.

The cost is $100 per player and includes beverages on the course, prizes and food served after the outing; $120 includes two mulligans, one raffle ticket, tee buster on hole 14, eagle putt on hole 7 and a chance to win a complimentary round of golf.
