Page International, Inc., an international logistics provider based in Savannah, has named Patrick Page as its president and chief operating officer as of Friday.

Page, who joined the company in 1998 and most recently served as its vice president, succeeds his father, Roy Page, as president.

Roy Page, the company’s founder, will remain with the company in the role of chief executive officer and chairman of the board.

“I am very proud and excited to announce this well-deserved promotion of Patrick to president and COO at Page International,” said Roy T. Page. “Since joining Page International, Patrick has been instrumental in leading our company through its many years of growth.”

Roy Page said Patrick Page has proven to be a tremendous asset for the company.

“Looking forward, we are confident that Patrick’s deep industry experience, demonstrated expertise in business strategy, corporate management, and overall leadership will help him excel in his new role,” said Roy Page.

Patrick Page has worked in various part of the company from predominately import and export sales to operations, corporate management, human resources, marketing, and administration. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology in international logistics and supply chain strategy. He is also a licensed customs broker

Page International celebrated 20 years in business in February and has grown from three people in a small warehouse to a staff of more than 60 with offices in Savannah and Atlanta and affiliated offices in more than 190 countries across the globe.

Beginning with ocean exports only, the company has expanded to ocean freight forwarding, customs brokerage, air freight and domestic transportation.

In late 2012, the company opened Kearney Page Warehouse Services in Garden City, less than two miles outside Georgia Ports’ main container terminal. Kearney Page is a joint venture with The Kearney Companies, a warehouse operator in the Port of New Orleans.
