Savannah resident Jacy Vergara has won the poster design contest for the Enmark Savannah River Bridge Run and will receive a $1,000 grand prize funded by the Savannah Sports Council.
The design contest is held in conjunction with the bridge run, which will be staged in downtown Savannah on Dec. 6. The winning entry will serve as the official 2014 poster and the design will be used on t-shirts and various promotional materials.
Designs were judged on the basis of creativity, originality and the use of some required elements.
