Enmark stations raise $1,000 for Savannah Bicycle Campaign

By matching proceeds raised from a lecture on making bicycling a healthy part of your life, Enmark stations have raised $1,000 for Savannah Bicycle Campaign, a nonprofit organization working to build a better Savannah through bicycling.

The lecture by campaign directgor John Bennett – “5 Ways to Make Bicycling a Healthy Part of Your Daily Life” – was the third of five lectures in the Enmark Encourage Health Education Series 2014.

Enmark has partnered with Healthy Savannah, the Savannah Morning News, Savannah Magazine, WJCL and GPB Savannah – WSVH 91.1/WWIO 89.9 to present five wellness lectures benefiting local nonprofits focused on wellness.

The next lecture will be Oct. 28 with Bert Tenenbaum, corporate director of wellness at Reliance Steel & Aluminum, presenting “Corporation’s 5 Waypoints on their Journey to Wellness.”

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at the door at the Savannah Morning News auditorium, 1375 Chatham Parkway. Enmark will match all proceeds.
