KATHY SHARPE

Sharpe will oversee all three Sea Island Bank markets primarily focusing on large loan opportunities in the $10 million to $20 million range. She will also work closely with Synovus divisions in Brunswick and Valdosta.

LT. COL. D. LAWRENCE EADDY

Construction exec to serve on advisory board

Ryan E. Price has been selected to serve as chairman of Georgia Southern University’s Construction Management Industry Advisory Board. Price is vice president and division manager of the Rives E. Worrell Company, a Savannah-based division of JE Dunn Construction Co., where he is responsible for overall strategies for development, growth and project sales for the Savannah office.

SSU instructor receives economic development award

Anne Roise, an instructor in the Political Science and Public Affairs Department at Savannah State University and CEO of Roise and Associates, was one of 20 professionals recognized at the Innovation and Leadership in Economic Development Awards held in Fort Worth, Texas on Oct. 19.

The honors were presented by GIS Planning Inc. of San Francisco, in partnership with fDi Intelligence, a division of the Financial Times in London. Roise was honored for her work in the field of community economic development.

Brodmann receives CVA designation
