The Conner Law Group has been selected for the 2015 U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms” rankings.
Firms included in the best law firms list are recognized for their abilities, their professionalism and their integrity through ratings from clients and peers in their practice areas.
The Conner firm, with offices in Savannah and Jesup, was eligible for consideration based on managing partner Mike Conner’s listing in US News & World Report’s The Best Lawyers in America for 2015. Conner has been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America every year since 2009 and his firm has been on the “Best Law Firms” list for the past four years.
Honda dealer to boost pet adoptions
Grainger Honda will partner with Coastal Pet Rescue for an adoption day on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its dealership on Chatham Parkway.
Coastal Pet Rescue was the winner of Grainger Honda’s Shelter Showdown, receiving $700 towards the rescue’s veterinary bills.
Coastal Pet Rescue volunteers will be on site Saturday with available pets and will be collecting donations as part of the shelter’s Home 4 the Holidays campaign.

Dillard’s sells cookbooks to benefit Ronald McDonald House
For the seventh time, Dillard’s stores are offering a custom edition of the Southern Living Christmas Cookbook to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The 288-page hardbound cookbook, which is available for $10, includes more than 200 recipes and dozens of decoration ideas for Christmas and seasonal gatherings.
The cookbooks are available in all Dillard’s stores as well as online at www.dillards.com. Proceeds from the sale of the cookbooks will benefit Ronald McDonald Houses in Dillard’s markets, including Savannah.
Now in its 21st year of support, Dillard’s has raised more than $11.4 million to benefit Ronald McDonald House.
Live mural competition at Southbound Brewing
Ramblin’ Man Productions will host a live mural competition and art show Nov. 22 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Southbound Brewing Company, 107 E. Lathrop Ave.
Blick Art Materials will sponsor the competition and provide material. The winner will be awarded a commission to paint a full mural inside the brewery.
The art show portion of the event will have 10 spaces available for artists to sell work or to promote their services.
