Gas company employees raise money for children’s choir
Atlanta Gas Light recently presented the Savannah Children’s Choir with a check for $5,265.
Company employees raised the money by holding a raffle selling $20 tickets for a chance to win a hunting rifle valued at $1,200.
The children’s choir will use the money to pay for transportation for their 2015 tour to Atlanta.
“Our employees are excited to give back to an organization like the Savannah Children’s Choir,” said Frank Gray, Atlanta Gas Light’s operations director. “They’re preparing for our future by working with talented kids and giving them a chance to grow and develop.”
