Health series raise $7,200 for local charities
The inaugural Encourage Health Education Series hosted earlier this year by Enmark Stations raised $7,200 for Savannah area nonprofits.
Enmark hosted the series of five wellness lectures in partnership with Healthy Savannah, the Savannah Morning News, Savannah Magazine, WJCL and GPB Savannah.
The series featured presentations from local experts on nutrition, fitness and general tips for healthy living.
Through the series, Enmark Stations raised $2,000 for West Broad Street YMCA, $1,000 for the Savannah Bicycle Campaign, $2,000 for Girls on the Run of Coastal Georgia, $1,000 for Performance Initiatives and $1,200 for YMCA of Coastal Georgia.
Enmark will present the 2015 Encourage Health Education Series beginning in January with the lineup of speakers to be announced in coming weeks.
