DENISE R. GRABOWSKI

Grabowski is the owner of Symbioscity, an urban planning consulting firm in Savannah. She will serve a three-year term in the urban/regional planner seat on the board. She is a founding member and past board chair of the Georgia Chapter of USGBC.

Education: She has a B.S. in environmental science from Furman University and a master of city planning from Georgia Tech.

JORDAN KING

New job title: Media and development liaison

King will help increase fundraising as well as handle media accounts.

Related experience: King has experience with ministry work and in other domestic and foreign fundraising areas through volunteer work in Guatemala, Thailand and South Sudan. She also has consulted multiple businesses in the handling their social media accounts.

She is a graduate from Full Sail University with a bachelor of science in entertainment business.

New job title: Gemologist and Diamond Consultant

Duties:

Krautheim will assist in buying and selling fine items and collectibles, primarily precious metals and gems such as diamonds, gold, silver, platinum, estate jewelry, heirlooms, coins, rare currency and more.

Krautheim has worked with Craig Burgess and the A&C team in buying and selling fine items and collectibles, primarily precious metals and gems such as diamonds, gold, silver, platinum, estate jewelry, heirlooms, coins, rare currency before rejoining the company in 2014.

Education:

Krautheim is a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America.

Tollison named to Leadership Georgia board of trustees

Hugh “Trip” Tollison, president and CEO, Savannah Economic Development Authority, has been named to the 2015 Board of Trustees for Leadership Georgia. Trip and his wife Tracey are 2009 Leadership Georgia graduates. Leadership Georgia is a leadership training program for young business, civic and community leaders with the desire and potential to work together for a better Georgia.

Ryysylainen joins advisory board

Debbie Ryysylainen is now a member of the United States Global Leadership Coalition, Georgia Advisory Board. Ryysylainen owns Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry, a Broughton Street business that offers wares from artisans around the world while focusing on fair business practices.

Murphy elected to GSU alumni advisory board

Wayne Murphy has been elected to the Young Alumni Advisory Board for the College of Business at Georgia Southern University. The Board works to guide recent graduates by fostering and sustaining a culture of investment in the College of Business.

Murphy is a banker for Queensborough National Bank and Trust at its Savannah branch. He is a Savannah native and a 2004 graduate of GSU, with a BBA in business management.

Local attorney selected for Legal Elite

Richard Barid has been selected as one of Georgia Trend’s “Legal Elite” for 2014. This group was voted on and selected by their peers in several recognized practice areas for the ninth edition of the list. Barid was selected in the Taxes, Estates and Trusts practice area and appears in the magazine’s December issue.
