Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc. announced Thursday that it will host a job fair Wednesday, Feb. 25, to hire more than 900 employees for the new Tanger Outlets in Pooler, which is scheduled to open in April.
The job fair will be from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Coastal Georgia Center, 305 Fahm St., in Savannah. More than 85 upscale brand-name stores and designer outlet retailers will be looking for full- and part-time employees.
Those stores include Coach, Michael Kors, J. Crew Factory, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Nike Factory Store, Cole Haan, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Vera Bradley, Talbots, Under Amour, Gap Factory Store, Old Navy Outlet, Abercrombie & Fitch, Bath and Body Works, Banana Republic Factory Store, White House|Black Market, Ann Taylor Factory Store, LOFT Outlet and others.
Applicants are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes.
Laura Simmons, general manager of the new outlet center, said the company is pleased to offer robust employment opportunities to the local community.

The economic impact of the outlet center is estimated at $10 million in additional sales tax for the city of Pooler and the state of Georgia.
