The Savannah Food & Wine Festival, which took place from Nov. 10-16, reports that it raised more than $50,000 in donations for its 2014 partner organizations.
Festival organizers recently presented the West Broad Street YMCA with a check for $5,000 as the charitable organization designated for the proceeds from the festival’s silent auctions.
The other nonprofits that benefited from the 2014 festival include: Savannah Technical College, Bethesda Academy, James Beard Foundation, Historic Savannah Foundation and the Tourism Leadership Council’s scholarship fund.
The 2015 festival will be Nov. 9-15.
