The Georgia Department of Labor will host recruitments next week at the Savannah Career Center, 5520 White Bluff Road, to help two companies hire about 120 workers.
The agency will help General Dollar recruit about 40 workers for three stores in the area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23.
The company is recruiting store managers, store-manager trainees, assistant managers, sales associates, stock clerks and temporary workers.
Applicants who are at least 18 must have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED). Those under 18 must have a work permit.

MCS Recruitment, a staffing company, will hire about 80 workers for a variety of jobs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.
Positions include accountants, carpenters, construction and warehouse workers, design engineers, electricians and helpers, fork-lift operators, strategic buyers and welders.
Also, the company is recruiting drivers with commercial drivers licenses (CDL), machinists with computer numeric controlled (CNC) certification, programmers with programmable logic controller (PLC) certification and quality control inspectors and engineers.
Applicants must be at least 18, have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED) and at least one year of experience in the position they are applying for. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
Salaries range from $12-$16 an hour for warehouse workers, drivers and fork-lift operators to $60,000-$85,000 annually for design engineers.
