Small and medium-sized companies hoping to broaden their market reach internationally will have the opportunity to meet with international representatives from the Georgia Department of Economic Development March 5 in Savannah.
The World Trade Center Savannah, 131 Hutchinson Island Road, will play host to the eight international representatives who are strategically located in Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Europe and the United Kingdom, Israel and Mexico.
They will be here to assist local companies with:
• Creating market assessments and entry strategies.
• Locating and pre-qualifying appropriate partners and customers.
• Providing advice on current issues and local business practices.
• Arranging business appointments for overseas trips.
“One of the best international assets we have as a state is the network of 11 Georgia Department of Economic Development offices that are located around the world,” said Brynn Grant, World Trade Center Savannah vice president.
“We are thrilled the representatives from each of those offices are coming to Savannah to meet with companies within this region to help them grow their international presence.”
Companies that want appointments must complete the application at Georgia.org/repsvisit.
