Pooler outlet mall to celebrate grand opening
Tanger Factory Outlet Centers and Ben Carter Enterprises announced Tuesday that Tanger Outlets Savannah will celebrate the center’s grand opening on April 16 with a 10 a.m. ribbon cutting hosted by HGTV’s Property Brothers, Jonathan and Drew Scott.
Activities will include styling sessions with a People StyleWatch fashion editor, a design workshop with The Property Brothers and an Instagram Tech Lounge.
“We take pride in the shopping experience we provide our customers, and our goal during this grand opening weekend in Savannah is to showcase our unique TangerSTYLE and generate additional excitement around this new retail destination,” said Steven B. Tanger, president and CEO of Tanger Factory Outlets.
Ben Carter, founder and chairman of Ben Carter Enterprises, said he expects the 176-acre outlet mall to “become the dominate retail destination for customers in the greater savannah area and its many visitors.”
‘Improve your credit score’ seminar scheduled
Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union members and the public are invited to attend “Improve Your Credit Score,” a free seminar slated for April 23.
Richard Reeve, director of financial education with Consumer Credit Counseling Service, will provide credit-related information such as how to pull your free credit report, how to review your report and what determines your credit score.
He also will provide tips on how to improve, build or rebuild your credit. The seminar is free, but reservations are required.
The session will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Georgia Heritage Federal Credit Union, 102 Park Ave., Pooler. For reservations, call 912-236-4400.
