Armstrong’s police chief honored

Armstrong State University Chief of Police Wayne Willcox was honored with a Federal 100 Award at the 26th Annual Federal 100 Awards Gala in Washington, D.C. on March 26. Willcox was the only honoree from an academic institution. The Federal 100 Awards are presented to government, industry and academic leaders who have played pivotal roles affecting how the federal government acquires, develops and manages IT, and who have transformed or accelerated their agency’s mission. Willcox is only one of 100 individuals from around the country to be given this award.
