
ATLANTA – Gale Baldwin, managing editor and business editor of the Savannah Morning News, has been named the small-business media champion of the year, for the Georgia District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The award was announced as part of the agency’s Georgia Small Business Week awards program. This year, National Small Business Week runs from May 4-8. Recipients will be recognized at the annual Small Business Week awards luncheon hosted by the Georgia Quality Lenders Circle on April 29 in Atlanta.
“National Small Business Week is a perfect opportunity to take time to celebrate the achievements of the small business community.” said Terri Denison, the SBA’s Georgia District director. “Here in Georgia we are honored to recognize members of the Georgia small business community and their champions from around the state.”
Kim Ells, chairwoman of Quality Lenders Circle, said the awards luncheon is an opportunity to witness the spirit of entrepreneurship in the small business community across the state of Georgia.
