HOS Management receives preservation award
HOS Management, a second generation hospitality and development company headquartered in Savannah, was recently honored by the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation for “Excellence in Rehabilitation” for The Cotton Sail Hotel.
The award was presented on April 17 during The Georgia Trust’s 38th annual Preservation Awards, which is part of the organization’s Spring Ramble festivities in Athens.
Marshall receives book award
Savannah author Nan Marshall received the Sims Bray Award for American Studies for her book “What Would George Do? Advice from Our Founding Father.” The award was presented at the Spring Gala of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Georgia Atlanta Chapter.
Fire Chief earns international re-certification
Savannah Fire Chief Charles G. Middleton has earned international re-certification through the Center for Public Safety Excellence. Middleton successfully completed the process that awards him the international professional designation of “Chief Fire Officer” (CFO). Middleton is one of only 1,043 CFO’s worldwide.
Gregory named employee of month
