Historic Savannah Foundation on Wednesday unveiled this year’s major presenting sponsors and special event details for the 24th annual HSF Gala at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, in Forsyth Park.
Katherine Albert will serve as chair of 2015 HSF Gala. Audi Hilton Head at the New River Auto Mall will once again be this year’s title sponsor and has pledged $25,000 to the foundation.
“For the past 60 years, HSF has been critical to preserving Savannah’s history and we look forward to continuing that fine tradition,” said Warner Peacock, president & CEO of New River Auto Mall.
Principal sponsors include The Fiduciary Group and Ashley’s Business Solutions. Each will make a $15,000 contribution.
“Savannah is where we do business and where we call home, and as such, we share HSF’s mission to preserve and protect Savannah’s heritage through advocacy, education and community involvement,” said Malcolm Butler, president and CEO of The Fiduciary Group.
Ashley Johnson, of Ashley’s Business Solutions, said his firm, like HSF, understands that “long-term strategic partnerships with community leaders and businesses are key to the preservation of Savannah.”
Three Oglethorpe sponsors have pledged $7,500 in support: Chatham Orthopaedic Associates, Lifecycle Construction Services and Levy Jewelers, which will provide a woman’s silver Rolex watch to be raffled off in honor of HSF’s 60th anniversary.
The HSF Gala is one of the organization’s largest fundraising events with all proceeds benefitting ongoing preservation initiatives. Tickets are $225 for HSF members and $275 for non-members.
