Duties:

Buerger will oversee all flight-test activities for sustaining and new programs, including those for the Gulfstream G500 and G600.

Related Experience: Buerger was the director of operations for the G650.

Education:

He earned an engineering degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Va., and a master’s degree in business administration from Auburn University in Auburn, Ala.

CHRIS GRAY

Duties: He is responsible for field supervision of the Sea Island and Cloister Hotel expansion projects.

Related Experience: Gray served as a superintendent at Lamar Smith Signature Homes in Richmond Hill, where he was responsible for field coordination and supervision of approximately 50 homes each year throughout Savannah, Rincon, Pooler and Port Wentworth.

Gray received his Bachelor of Arts from Missouri State University with majors in graphic design and photography.

SARA NORWOOD

She is responsible for overseeing branch operations and developing client and business relationships.

Related Experience:

Norwood worked as a market leader at BB&T Bank in Pooler, where she oversaw staffing, grew the bank’s business and increased revenue. She has also worked as a branch manager at SunTrust Bank in Savannah and as a personal banker at Bank of America in Hilton Head.

Education:

Norwood earned a Bachelor of Science from American International College in Springfield, Mass., where she double majored in science and sociology and minored in business.

DR. ANA MARIA CONCEPCIÓN

Related Experience: She serves as chair of the Infection Control Committee at St. Joseph’s Hospital, a position that she has held since 2000. Dr. Concepción also is secretary/treasurer at Candler Hospital, a position that she has held since 2015, and served as chief of medicine there from 2012 to 2014.

Education: Dr. Concepción earned her medical degree at Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in Louisiana and performed a fellowship there in infectious diseases. She is board certified in infectious diseases.

MEGAN MUCCILLO

McGarrity named to Historic District Review Board

Andy McGarrity, a superintendent at Rives E. Worrell Co., a JE Dunn Construction Company, was recently appointed by the City Council to the Historic District Board of Review (HDBR). As a member of the HDBR, he will assist in maintaining preservation standards, visual compatibility factors and design standards established in the City of Savannah Zoning Ordinance within the Landmark Historic District.

Wells Fargo recognizes Ford

Wells Fargo Advisors designated Jason B. Ford, senior vice president, investment officer, as a member of the firm’s Premier Advisors Program. Ford has been a financial adviser with Wells Fargo Advisors for 15 years and has 15 years of experience in the brokerage industry.

Martin honored for legal excellence

Janna Martin, of Friedman Martin & Stevens LLP, has been selected to the 2015 list as a member of the Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel. NADC is an organization dedicated to promoting standards of legal excellence.

GHS elects new members

The Georgia Historical Society elected six new members to the GHS Board of Curators. The vote and announcement were made at the 176th annual meeting of the Georgia Historical Society. The new members are Dolly Chisholm, Erroll Davis, Jr., Roy Fickling, Doug Hertz, Mark Smith and Don Waters.

Cosmann joins Bark Park board

Beverly Cosmann was named as a new Bryan County Bark Park board member. Cosmann is employed by the Wilderman Group as the general manager of the Richmond Hill City Center.

Savannah Commons Retirement Community recognizes staff

The Savannah Commons Retirement Community recently recognized staff members for their service. Shequieta Moore and Ashleigh Reddix received the CNA Spotlight Award, Tameika Polke was named the Above and Beyond Recipient, and Terence Shuman was named Employee of the Month.
