In Toccoa, NIFCO KTW will build an initial 130,000-square-foot facility. KTW has headquarters in Weissenburg, Germany, and employs 350 people.
Hospitality Design magazine honors Felder & Associates
Felder & Associates’ rehabilitation project of the historic Greyhound Bus Depot — now The Grey restaurant — has received a special judges’ award from Hospitality Design magazine. From more than 560 entries, The Grey received special recognition for “Fine Dining Redefined.”
Felder & Associates, along with The Grey and owner John Morisano, was honored during the 11th annual Hospitality Design Awards ceremony in New York. The annual event recognizes outstanding commercial spaces across the country.
Judges created a one-of-a-kind award for The Grey’s recognition.
“I am pleased and overwhelmed by the recognition we have received in response to this rehabilitation project,” said Brian Felder, managing principal of Felder & Associates. “This was truly a collaborative effort from beginning to end.”
In addition, the June issue of Hospitality Design will feature the transformation of The Grey.
Envirovac accredited by national organization
Envirovac, a Savannah-based firm that provides industrial cleaning, environmental services and on-site maintenance support programs, has become an accredited training and performance assessment center through the National Center for Construction Education and Research.
Only two American industrial cleaning companies have achieved this designation.
Having the accreditation “gives our customers and management the confidence that each Envirovac employee knows how to perform the work professionally and safely,” said Harry Miles, the firm’s corporate health, safety and environmental director. ”This is a huge advantage for our customers and a way for us to stand out from the pack.”
As the accrediting body for the industry, NCCER establishes the benchmark for quality training and assessments.
Established in 1999 with two locations and 30 employees, Envirovac currently employs nearly 750 employees across 12 locations.
