Microsoft — Excel 1

For proficiency and confidence in Excel, this course covers creating workbooks, navigating the Excel working screen, formatting and navigating worksheets, entering data, entering labels, and creating and working with charts.

Import compliance, documentation and procedures

During the seminar, attendees will learn skills needed to import goods and services from foreign markets. The World Academy, a nationally recognized training organization that offers import/export trade compliance education and training, will lead the seminar.

The seminar will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on March 5 at the World Trade Center Savannah, 131 Hutchinson Island Road. Cost is $75 per participant, includes lunch.

Beginning project management

An overview of the nine principles for managing projects: scope, integration, communication, time, cost, procurement, risk management, quality control and human resources. Together with the 24-hour Advanced Project Management Course, this course completes the 35-hour course requirement for the PMI PMP certification application.

Creative writing 2

Entrepreneur workshop

The Beaufort Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Technical College of the Lowcountry have partnered with BizBuilderSC to offer a 12-session workshop open to entrepreneurs who want to expand existing business and need the skills to help make it grow. The workshop is sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina.
