Medical software firm finds partner

Healthpac Computer Systems Inc., a Savannah-based developer of medical billing software has partnered with InstaMed, a national health care payments network.

“Our mission is to meet the unique billing and management needs of our wide range of clients, including billing companies, hospitals, small practices and labs,” said Buddy Claborn, president of Healthpac Computer Systems Inc. “By partnering with InstaMed, we are able to enhance our offering by simplifying our clients’ end-to-end health care payments process.”

A news release from Healthpac said health care providers, by using InstaMed, can simplify every step of the health care payments process, which allows them to collect more patient payments, get paid faster and reduce the time and costs to collect.

Healthpac’s clients can verify eligibility and easily manage claims and remittances to save time, the release said. Almost 10,000 doctors use Healthpac, a 31-year-old medical billing software company with offices at 1010 E. Victory Drive.
