Gas prices still dropping in Savannah
Average retail gasoline prices in Savannah have fallen 5.6 cents a gallon in the past week to $3.43 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 262 gas outlets in Savannah.
The national average has fallen 5.0 cents a gallon to $3.52, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
Prices Sunday were 42.4 cents a gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 19.4 cents a gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has decreased 13.8 cents a gallon during the last month and stands 37.0 cents lower than a year ago.
“The national average continues to be driven down as oil prices have fallen in recent weeks,” said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. “The year-on-year savings is approaching 40 cents a gallon in some spots, not necessarily hitting the lottery, but every cent counts.”
Enmark stations support Light the Night

Business forum scheduled in Richmond Hill
The Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce will host its 2nd Quarter Business Forum from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 23 at the Richmond Hill City Center.
The forum — “The Top 10 Tips to Create a Powerful Business Plan” — will discuss why a business plan helps the owner validate the business concept and set clear goals, as well as give investors, banks, suppliers, partners and potential hires information on the company.
The forum will be presented by Kenneth Zapp, a SCORE mentor and professor emeritus at Metropolitan State University

Earth Day ‘pot party’ to benefit farmers market
ThincSavannah, the collaborative office community at 35 Barnard St., will hold an Earth Day “Pot Party” plant drive and fundraiser on Friday.
The event in honor of Earth Day will serve as a fundraiser to benefit Savannah’s Forsyth Market.
Admission is free with a donation of one potted plant or $10 cash, which will be donated to the Forsyth Farmers Market.
