Every year, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Downtown Business Connection offers a tempting combination of networking opportunities with the best in Savannah cuisine from more than 40 local chefs, restaurants and caterers.
Thursday night was no exception as more than 1,000 chamber members and guests crowded Johnson Square for the 12th annual event.
Presented by Bank of America, the event’s supporting sponsors included AT&T, Choate Construction, Clear Channel Communications, Deemer Dana & Froehle, Savannah Technical College and Southern Eagle Distributing.
Participating restaurants included 700 Drayton at the Mansion on Forsyth, Brasserie 529, Garibaldi’s, Kevin Barry’s Irish Pub, River Street Sweets, Savor Savannah, Sweet Tea Grill, the Olde Pink House, Tondee’s Tavern, A. Lure, Alligator Soul, bar food, Belford’s, Blue Turtle Bistro and Blowin’ Smoke, Cha Bella, Ruth’s Chris Steak House and The Melting Pot.
