World Trade Center Savannah and Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce will host an International Trade Finance Seminar on June 5, at World Trade Center Savannah, 131 Hutchinson Island Drive.
This half-day seminar will address how to get paid in international trade. Regional businesses and entrepreneurs involved in or considering global markets may learn about:
• Increasing sales while mitigating risks associated with global payments.
• Appropriate payment terms for international trade activities.
• How to avoid putting constraints on working capital from overseas growth.
• Developing a strategy for financial success in global trade.
The seminar will include interactive presentations and a concluding panel for questions and answers with experts in small- and medium-sized business trade and finance. The experts include:
• Charlotte Starfire, SunTrust Bank, director of global trade solutions;
• Sandro Murtas, Small Business Administration, regional manager, export solutions group;
• Susan Kintanar, Export-Import Bank of the U.S., export finance manager/director;

• Brian Morgan, SunTrust Bank, foreign exchange trader.
