Goodwill of the Coastal Empire held a grand opening celebration Thursday for its new retail store and job center in Rincon.
The Goodwill Retail Store and Job Connection is located at 410 S. Columbia Ave.in the Fort Howard Shopping Plaza.
The Rincon Goodwill will serve as the nonrofit’s fifteenth retail location with a nearly 20,000-square-foot facility and is expected to employ about 25 people.
The Job Connection will serve as the seventh career center site in the region. The Rincon Job Connection offers job seekers access to job leads and provides other help in finding a job.
The career center offers assistance with resume writing, interviewing skills, health and wellness education, financial literacy and other classes.
