His early work with the National Cancer Institute led to his selection as executive director of the new Comprehensive Cancer Center for Florida. In 2010 Michael and his wife returned to Savannah, where he works as a home care IT consultant.
Education: Siegel earned a BS in biology from Moravian College and an MA in developmental biology from Temple University.
BOBBY CROW

Company: The Coastal Bank
Duties: Crow is responsible for guiding new and existing customers through the mortgage and re-financing process. He is based at the bank’s operations center in Pooler.
Related work experience: Crow served as a branch manager and assistant vice president at SunTrust Bank. He also worked as a personal banker at Bank of America and was the owner/sales manager of an outsourcing firm representing Fortune 500 companies. He has 14 years experience in direct sales, marketing and customer service.
Education: Crow graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University with a B.A. in business administration in 2006.

Duties: LLerena oversees accounting department operations, processes payroll and directs accounting representatives for four of the company’s apartment communities.
Related work experience: Llerena served as an assistant controller for Hole Montes, Inc., in Naples, Fla.

Savannah-Chatham school employee honored
The Savannah-Chatham County School System has announced that Sheilla Durdley, a paraprofessional at Coastal Georgia Comprehensive Academy, has been selected as the district’s Instructional Support Person of the Year for 2014. She was named at an award ceremony on May 23 at Woodville Tompkins Technical and Career High School.

Savannah woman selected as mentor
Beth Logan, director of marketing and volunteer services for Hospice Savannah, Inc., has been selected as a mentor for the National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals Volunteer Management Section. She will mentor a new volunteer manager with a not-for-profit hospice in Waterloo, Iowa.
