ROSE BRENKUS

New job title: Heavenly Spa manager

Company: The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa

Duties: Brenkus will manage the Heavenly Spa and the teams that function within the department. She is also responsible for the generation of revenue within the Heavenly Spa.

Related work experience: Brenkus supervised more than 45 therapists at Spa Palazzo at The Boca Raton Resort and Club. Prior to Boca, Rose was at Red Door Spa and The Spa at The Breakers.

Education: Brenkus has a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University, with a major in finance and a minor in marketing.

N. LEE YATES, III

New job title: Medical director of vascular surgery

Company: St. Joseph’s/Candler

Duties: Yates will provide leadership of the vascular surgery program at The Heart Hospital at St. Joseph’s Hospital, as well as the vascular screening program.

Education: Yates received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia and his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine.

REAGAN DALY

New job title: Public relations coordinator

Company: Willingway

Duties: Daly will coordinate Willingway’s public relations functions and management of activities and events within and outside Willingway.

Related work experience: Daly was the editor and creator of Moments magazine in Statesboro. She also sold cable news shows and anchored online vodcasts. Most recently, she was the advertising manager for Savannah Media LLC.

Education: Daly is an alumna of Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.

PAUL MORALES

New job title: Medical IT engineer

Company: MD Tech Pro — Savannah/Charleston Offices

Duties: Morales will configure and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for clientele and maintain network stability in a medical environment.

Related work experience: Morales has experience in IT contracting and consulting.

Education: Morales attended Trident Technical College and Cisco Academy.

JOEL K. GERBER

New job title: Partner

Company: Brannen, Searcy & Smith LLP

Duties: Gerber’s practice is focused on residential and commercial real estate closings, trusts and estates, corporate law, probate and construction law.

Education: Gerber graduated from the University of Georgia, A.B., cum laude, 1997, and from the University of Memphis, with his J.D., 2001.

Savannah man honored

Destination Marketing Association International has named Zeek Coleman, Internet Marketing Manager of Visit Savannah, as one of 30 future leaders of the destination marketing industry. Coleman has been the interactive marketing manager since October 2010, concentrating on online marketing and Visit Savannah analytics.

Savannah woman honored

Dr. Carmen Cobb Wallace of Savannah was honored with the 2013 Intern of the Year Award at the Medical College of Wisconsin where she was promoted to resident physician in the combination Internal Medicine/Pediatric residency program.

Nlaws Produce names Driver of the Month

Nlaws Produce has named Ervin Johnson Employee of the Month. Johnson has been with the company for more than seven years.

Savannah doctor honored

Dr. Richard S. Roth, with SouthCoast Medical Group, has been named attending physician of the year by the Internal Medicine Residency Program and teacher of the year by the Family Medicine Residency program, both at Memorial Health University Medical Center.

Roth has been in private practice since 1993 in Savannah.

Savannah banker honored

The Coastal Bank has announced that vice president and mortgage sales manager Marlene S. Buhler was recently named to the board of governors for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia. She represents District III with Lisa Lively of Fidelity Bank Mortgage.

Rotary club swears in new officers

Metropolitan Savannah Rotary, Chatham County’s newest Rotary International club, has sworn in new officers for the 2013-14 year. The new board of directors is as follows:
