DOUG CARROLL

New job title: Director of real estate

Company: Enmark Stations, Inc.

Duties: Carroll manages the company’s real estate strategy, including site selection and acquisition, and oversees the existing real estate portfolio, disposition and re-position of surplus property.

Related work experience: Carroll has held various roles within the retail real estate industry, from shopping center leasing to convenience-store development with RaceTrac Petroleum. Most recently, he was the southeast real estate manager for Papa Murphy’s Pizza.

Education: Carroll received a B.B.A. in marketing and management from Mercer University and an M.B.A. from the University of Georgia.

MEGAN FEASEL

New job title: Director of the Student Recreation Center

Company: Armstrong Atlantic State University

Duties: Feasel is responsible for overseeing operations of the Student Recreation Center and managing the university’s fitness and wellness programs, intramurals, sport clubs and outdoor recreation.

Related work experience: Feasel has served as Armstrong’s assistant director of fitness and wellness since joining the university in 2008.

Education: Feasel earned a master’s in public administration with a focus in anatomy and physiology and a B.A. in communications from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her strength and conditioning certification at Armstrong in 2010, and is finishing a master’s degree in exercise science at Georgia Southern University.

DIEDRI GARRETT

New job title: Human resources consulting

Company: WebsterRogers

Duties: Garrett will provide a range of strategic human resources advisory services designed to assist business owners and managers in repositioning for further success through the stabilization and improvement in their people processes.

Related work experience: Garrett’s experience in human resources management includes recruitment, talent development, compensation planning, benefits, performance management and terminations.

Education: Garrett graduated from Elon University with a bachelor of science in economics.

WANDA SAXX

New job title: REO specialist and associate broker

Company: Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners, Pooler

Duties: Saxx will assist with residential purchases or sales and specializes in foreclosures.

Related work experience: Saxx has five years of new home and construction experience; she also has background and experience as an REO Specialist in Atlanta and 16 years of real estate experience in North Carolina and Georgia.

BOB WIMBERLY

New job title: Mentor

Company: SCORE

Duties: Wimberly will focus in the areas of business financial management and business loan qualification.

Related work experience: He spent 26 years in community banking, focusing on consumer and commercial lending, operations and investments, culminating with 15 years as a CEO, and eight years as the owner of an accounting and tax practice.

BRANDI HEBRON

New job title: Coordinator for institutional effectiveness

Company: Bethesda Academy

Duties: Hebron is responsible for tracking institutional metric information including former students’ test scores, college participation and workforce development. In addition, she evaluates trends in the data to measure Bethesda Academy’s academic success and identify areas of growth.

Related work experience: Hebron worked for South University as an assistant registrar, where she tracked students’ college transfer courses, maintained academic transcripts and requests, led new student reviews and facilitated academic advisement. She also served as an adult education transition coordinator at Savannah Technical College and as a constituent services representative for the U.S. House of Representatives.

Education: Hebron earned a B.A. in liberal studies and a M.Ed. in higher education from Armstrong Atlantic State University.

Jane Beare, Michael Cherry, Stephen Clementi and Angela Schroeder of Coldwell Banker Platinum Partners ranked in the Top 10 sales associates for the 3rd quarter of 2013 in Georgia for the Coldwell Banker franchise system.

Savannah woman to be honored

Dinah Gretsch, executive vice president and CFO of the Savannah-based Gretsch Co. will be honored by the Women’s International Music Network with the organization’s 2014 She Rocks Award. Gretsch will be recognized for her accomplishments and philanthropic works. The presentation will take place on, Jan. 24.

Realtor honored

The National Association of Realtors and Seniors Real Estate Specialist Council awarded Realtor Brooke Bass the Outstanding Service Award at the 2013 REALTORS Conference and Expo on Nov. 9 in San Francisco. Bass is a broker associate with Keller Williams Coastal Area Partners.

Savannah woman elected to board

Karen Jenkins, executive director of Savannah Tree Foundation, has been elected to the board of the Alliance for Community Trees, a national movement to improve the environment and communities one tree at a time. Savannah Tree Foundation along with other ACTrees member organizations has helped plant 15 million trees nationally.

Teachers honored

Steve Schetski and Trellis Payne, art teachers at Savannah Arts Academy, have been selected by the Georgia Art Education Association to receive the Georgia Art Education Association National Art Honor Society Sponsor of the Year Award for 2014. The award was presented at the association’s annual convention in Savannah on Oct. 11.
