Duties: Grismer will oversee all projects from start to finish. She will also work with clients to complete projects by outlining required resources, scope, budget and timing.

Related Experience: Grismer worked as an executive assistant at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force and has 25 years of executive administration experience. She also worked with Grey Advertising and Tishman Speyer Properties in N.Y.

Education: Grismer earned her associate’s degree in liberal studies from Nassau Community College in Garden City, N.Y.

LYNDSAY DUNNING

New job title: Direct Care/House Manager

Company: The Living Vine Christian Maternity Home

Duties: Dunning will be responsible for direct care of residents, public relations and publication design.

Duties: Chappas will lead Herty’s contract manufacturing and contract research and development in wet-laid nonwovens, composites and new product development.

Related Experience: He was on the faculty of the University of Maryland’s Department of Materials and Nuclear Engineering and was director of the university’s laboratory for radiation and polymer science and radiation engineering facilities.

Education: He has a Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of Maryland.

LENARD T. ROBINSON

New job title: Director of landside facilities

Duties: Robinson oversees and is responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, coordinating and controlling all activities related to facility services to include building maintenance, grounds maintenance, custodial maintenance and equipment maintenance in addition to landside operations, which include parking and ground transportation.

Education: He holds an associates of science, computer engineering technology from Savannah State University and a bachelor of science, computer science from Savannah State University.

Dr. Harold Black to speak at sleep professionals meeting

Dr. Harold Black, DDS of Morrison Dental Associates, has been invited to speak on treatment of obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy at the Georgia Association of Sleep Professionals annual meeting on April 26 in Atlanta.

Black is the only dentist on the teaching faculty and will present a technical review of oral appliance therapy as a non-surgical treatment for sleep apnea. Black has practiced dentistry for more than 50 years and is considered the founding father of dental sleep medicine in Savannah.

Park Place Outreach names new board member

Park Place Outreach Youth Emergency Shelter, 514 Henry St., announces the addition of Todd Cellini, president of South University, Savannah, to their board. Cellini has been appointed to a three-year term.

Ryan Sewell receives Keystone Thoroughbred Award

Ryan Sewell, a vice president in commercial lines at Bernard Williams & Co. Insurance and Financial Services, is a recipient of the Keystone Thoroughbred Award. The honor, given by Keystone Insurers Group, recognizes the accomplishments of insurance sales executives that generate the highest sales numbers in new business for their respective states. Sewell is one of two Thoroughbred Award winners in Georgia.

Sports Council director named to national board

Ben Wilder, director of the Savannah Sports Council, a division of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah, has been selected as a board member with the National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC). Wilder has been a member of NASC for more than 10 years.

Lasky selected as ‘top lawyer’
