At today’s Savannah Economic Development Authority board meeting, Israeli-based Bram Industries announced Savannah as its location for their first U.S. manufacturing facility.
The facility will bring 60 new jobs with a $3 million capital investment.
Bram Industries develops, produces, and markets plastic products such as food packaging products, tableware, plastic housewares, plastic storage tools and more in Israel, Europe, the United States and South America.
The facility will be located at 300 Telfair Road in the Georgia Commerce Center.
“On behalf of myself, the board of directors and stockholders of Bram Industries, after selling our product for about 10 years in the United States, we are proud to announce our first manufacturing facility in the United States,” said Eli Bramli, owner and CEO of Bram Industries.
“With great cooperation with the Savannah Economic Development Authority, the city of Savannah and the state of Georgia, we are very excited to announce Savannah as our first U.S. home base.”
The Savannah plant will give Bram Industries a production presence in the U.S., France and Israel.
“On behalf of the Savannah Economic Development Authority board of directors I would like to congratulate Bram Industries on their first U.S. manufacturing facility in Savannah,” said Trip Tollison, SEDA President and CEO. “We look forward to having a long relationship with Bram Industries and watching them grow in Savannah.”
Bram Industries plans to start production in the third quarter of 2015.
