Ameris Bank on Friday presented a $10,000 check to the Memorial Health Foundation for The Next Generation’s Summer Soiree event.
Money raised from the event will benefit The Children’s Hospital at Memorial University Medical Center, the only children’s hospital in southeast Georgia.
“As a community bank invested in the places where we do business, Ameris Bank is pleased to be able to sponsor an event as worthy The Next Generation’s Summer Soiree,” said Greater Savannah Market President Austen Carroll. “This fundraiser benefits the most vulnerable members of our society, our children.”
Funds raised at the event will be used to help buy a new, neonatal intensive care ambulance. The soiree, which will be held on Friday, June 12, will include live entertainment, heavy hors d’oeuvres and an auction.
