TripAdvisor gives nod to the Salt Table
The Salt Table, a food specialty store with shops in downtown Savannah and Pooler, has received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence award for the third year in a row.
The award is given to establishments that consistently achieve good traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.
To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least 4 out of 5, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
The Salt Table has been rated 5 out of 5 throughout the past year.
“The TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is an important designation because it is based exclusively on the reviews of The Salt Table’s customers,” said co-owner Dave Legasse. “Carol and I are very proud of our staff for providing excellent customer service and to our customers for taking time to review our business.”
“TripAdvisor is pleased to honor exceptional hospitality businesses that have received consistent praise and recognition by travelers on the site,” said Trip-Advisor’s Marc Charron.
Liberty County listed among ‘America’s top sites’
HINESVILLE — Liberty County was recently featured among “America’s Top Sites for Business Prosperity and an Enjoyable Life” by Trade & Industry Development magazine.
The publication cites Liberty’s proximity to the Port of Savannah, the presence of Fort Stewart and transitioning soldiers and the emergence of workforce development initiatives as characteristics that are attractive to industrial executives.
The listings, released May 8, were compiled by the magazine, whose mission is to provide insight into site selection and facility planning.
Liberty is among eight communities nationwide to be featured on the list. Other Southeast locations include Dublin, Ga., and northeast Tennessee.
“This accolade highlights our community’s viability for businesses for both its proximity to Savannah and innovative workforce development programs in partnership with Liberty College and Career Academy and Savannah Technical College,” said Liberty County Development Authority CEO Ronald E. Tolley.
