The Savannah-based HunterMaclean law firm has launched the HunterMaclean Emergency Response Team to provide 24/7 coordination to expedite responses to trucking accidents in Coastal Georgia and as far west as Macon.
The team’s hotline can help carriers, insurers or shippers in need of a quick response to an accident scene involving tractor trailers or intermodal transportation, the firm said in a news release, and clients can obtain round-the-clock assistance from experienced transportation attorneys with a single call.
“The HunterMaclean Emergency Response Team focuses on accidents occurring on I-95, I-16 and on all the back roads in between,” said transportation attorney Dennis B. Keene. “We can be on the scene of an accident as quickly as possible to protect the legal interests of our clients.”
With the firm’s professional connections, Keene said, they can put trucking companies, shippers and insurers in touch with emergency response team personnel across the country.
“Having an attorney involved early on is strategic,” said Keene. “The fresher the evidence is, the more we can do to advise our client. It’s imperative that we document and retain evidence to help the motor carrier or insurer.”
Frank S. Macgill, managing partner at HunterMaclean, said the firm has represented drivers, carriers, shippers, brokers and insurers before state and federal courts, arbitration panels and administrative agencies.
The firm is an associate member of the Georgia Motor Trucking Association and a member of the ALFA International global legal network.
