Store to focus on children’s boutique clothing

Tater Tots Embroidery and Gifts will open Monday at 6512 White Bluff Avenue in the space above Two Smart Cookies.

Tater Tots will feature clothing, bedding and decorating accessories for babies, clothes for children and a selection of gifts for new mothers. Many of the items will be suitable for monogramming, which owner Richard McCoy will do on-site at the store.

“Savannah has a wonderful tradition of supporting locally-owned businesses, and we are looking forward to providing our area with unique gifts and in-store monogramming,” McCoy said.

McCoy and his wife Jennifer have two sons and welcomed twin girls in the fall.

“The years when your children are little are very special,” said McCoy. “The time goes by very fast and we want to help families celebrate those years with beautiful bedding, clothing and gifts.”

Georgia Southern University’s College of Business Administration has been recognized by the Military Times as being one of the best business schools for veterans in the United States. In the magazine’s first survey, Georgia Southern received the “Best for Vets: Business Schools” seal.

Georgia Southern ranked 45th out of the roughly 100 business schools at colleges and universities that responded to the detailed, 60-question survey and was singled out for its online and part-time MBA program and for having staff dedicated to veterans’ issues.

The Best for Vets survey is in this month’s edition of Military Times on newsstands and online. Find the story and rankings at http://militarytimes.com/education/choosing-schools/military-best-for-vets-business-schools-031113/.
