Drayton Tower to host open house

Flank, a Manhattan-based development and design firm, will hold a grand opening for the newly restored and remodeled Drayton Tower, 102 E. Liberty St., from 5-8 p.m. Thursday.

“We are delighted to celebrate the grand opening of Drayton Tower,” said Jon Kully, managing partner and co-founder of Flank. The renovation of the building, originally designed by William P. Bergen, will provide prospective residents with first-class amenities and state-of-the-art interiors, Kully said.

Visitors are invited to attend the open house to tour the facility with local officials and members of the project team on hand.

Drayton Tower offers studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments, polished concrete floors, reclaimed bowling alley kitchen countertops, glass cabinets, black and white tiled baths, washer and dryers and central air-conditioning.

Residents have access to a private gym, bicycle storage and keyless access to the building. Parking spaces are available for lease on a limited basis.

The base of the building is ringed with six retail store fronts called The Shops at Drayton Tower.

“It has been an extraordinary pleasure to be part of the revitalization of Savannah’s historic district and the renovation of this iconic mid-century modern building,” said Kully.

Flank is a New York-based firm with more than 10 years of experience in luxury apartment building design/development. Drayton Tower is the firm’s first project outside of the New York metropolitan area.
